Wrist and Hand Surgery
Dr. Arora is exceptionally professional and an expert surgeon. About ten years ago, I slipped and fell, helping at a car accident. I broke numerous bones in my wrist with damage to my hand. My hand and wrist continue to be in great shape. Now, I am experiencing carpal tunnel in my other hand. I do not want to go to any doctor other than the Awesome Dr. Arora. I know his expertise will help me. Thank you, Dr. Arora, for being and continuing to be the person and doctor that you are.

Excellent Hand Surgeon
I have had Dr. Arora operate on five of my fingers for trigger finger. The office staff is very knowledgeable, and it was very easy to schedule my surgeries. I was fully informed of the procedure and what to do both before and after the surgeries. Documentary instructions are provided both before surgery and after the follow-up visit for stitch removal. The surgeries were fast and uneventful. I highly recommend Dr. Arora for any surgeries involving the hand, wrist and elbow. He is an excellent hand surgeon. He communicates everything that will be done in simple to understand language.

Carpal Tunnel Surgery
After experiencing several years of numbness and tingling in both of my hands, I was referred to Dr Avery Arora. I was diagnosed with Carpal tunnel syndrome in both of my hands. Dr Arora was very professional and kind and allowed me to make the decision to have surgery on both hands 2 weeks apart. The entire process was very smooth. His staff was so friendly (especially his nurse Mary whom I really enjoyed). I would highly recommend Dr Arora!

Recent visit to Arora Hand Surgeon
I have arthritis in my hands and I see Dr. Arora’s office when the pain gets extreme. Mary is so empathetic, I always enjoy my visit with her. In the past I got a shot of steroids in my hand which while momentarily painful, was most effective. Kay gave me comforting therapy. I recommend this office.

A+ experience
Dr. Avery Arora removed a lipoma from my wrist a little over 6 weeks ago and I never expected my experience to go SO well! I had seen another hand surgeon 4 years earlier who declined to remove it. It continued to grow and even though it wasn’t painful, I discussed it recently with my dermatologist who suggested Dr. Arora. From my first phone call to his office to schedule my first visit, to my last PT appointment (which was in his office and so convenient), everyone was friendly, kind, professional and experienced. This includes the surgery which took place at Henry Ford Providence in Southfield. I have never been to one of their facilities and on the day of surgery, their staff was top-notch, so good at what they do. Everyone who came to my bedside wanted to be sure that my experience was the best and it was. I highly recommend Dr. Avery Arora, who does surgery on the hand, wrist and elbow. He will take care of you from start to finish.

I developed trigger thumb in my right hand. It was horrible. Doc really educated me and walked me through my options. He was not pushy and was proactive for solutions without surgery. I strongly wanted surgery because I felt like it was miserable. He did two separate injections and asked me to wait to see how it does. It resolved!!! No surgery needed!! I am so grateful for him!!!

I first thought I was going to have to have painful injections or surgery, but Dr. Arora suggested physical therapy may do the trick. I was doubtful, but I agreed to do it. Now, my pain is gone, and with the help of an ergonomic keyboard at work to keep my hands in the correct position, I am virtually pain free. The therapy strengthened my wrists and shoulders, and built more flexibility into my wrists.
