Traumeel Injectables

What are

Traumeel Injectables?

Has your quality of life been compromised by pain or discomfort from an injury or chronic condition? Are you seeking natural alternatives to surgery?
Dr. Avery Arora now offers Traumeel injectables as a non-surgical and homeopathic approach to address joint pain or discomfort and help you achieve happier, healthier living.

Traumeel is a natural formula with both botanical and mineral extracts that have the potential to neutralize inflammation, which allows your body to heal properly. Frequently used by athletes, individuals with arthritis, and other chronic orthopedic conditions, Traumeel injectables are often utilized as alternatives to cortisone and anti-inflammatory medications.

As such, these injectables allow patients to get back to their active lifestyle much sooner than waiting for the pain to subside. Many athletes have avoided steroids, anti-inflammatory medications, and narcotics by instead using Traumeel injectables.

Because Traumeel injectables are natural, they are also deemed extremely safe. The side effects for these injectables are rare, especially compared to other forms of treatment. Outside of an allergic reaction to the botanical components found in Traumeel injectables, there are no major side effects.

The injectables also do not interfere with other medications, and they do not cause any changes in blood sugars. Patients with diabetes will not have to be concerned with potential increases in their blood glucose in days following Traumeel injectables, unlike they would with cortisone injections.

This treatment option is also much less costly than other injectables.

What We Can

Treat with Traumeel

When injecting, Traumeel can be safely deposited into tendons or ligaments without fear of rupture or destruction. The injections can also be repeated without concerns about resistance or further damage.

Traumeel injectables can be used to treat chronic joint pain, post-procedure inflammation, brusitis, arthritis, trauma, tendinitis, and ligament, tendon, and muscle tears.

What to Expect During

Your Appointment

When you arrive for your appointment, the area to be injected is first cleaned with an antiseptic such as an iodine preparation, alcohol, or other skin disinfectant. After disinfecting, we will then numb the treatment area with an acupuncture-sized, small needle.

The injectable is then given with a small needle with assistance from an ultrasound image. Using an ultrasound image allows us to see the underlying structures and best pinpoint the source of your pain.

Only a small amount of Traumeel injectable is needed. After that, there is no downtime needed. The patient may experience a slight soreness at the injection site for a few days, but you will be able to resume your normal daily activities immediately.

You should start to experience the benefits of your Traumeel injectable 24 – 48 hours after your appointment. However, to get the most out of this treatment, repeat injections over several weeks is recommended for maximum anti-inflammatory and healing benefits.

Dr. Aroras office from my first call to schedule my appointment was friendly. Walking in the first day, I felt like I was in a nice atmosphere. Dr. Arora was EXCELLENT in taking great care of my hand injury. He was gentle and very understanding to the concerns I had about my hand. His expertise was admirable and I would recommend anyone with an injury to their hand to his office to be under his care. Because of him, I have healed faster than expected and will make an 100% recovery! Thank you Dr.

I first thought I was going to have to have painful injections or surgery, but Dr. Arora suggested physical therapy may do the trick. I was doubtful, but I agreed to do it. Now, my pain is gone, and with the help of an ergonomic keyboard at work to keep my hands in the correct position, I am virtually pain free. The therapy strengthened my wrists and shoulders, and built more flexibility into my wrists.
